THE ROLE

While some of your work may be done remotely, you’ll also be hitting the road to train teams across Canada. This one-year contract position kicks off with a comprehensive training program so you are well prepared to take your expertise to our teams. This is an amazing opportunity to put your skills to work and advance your career. 

Our compensation package includes eligibility for performance bonuses. This role is based in the Greater Toronto Area with ability to travel.

Training Activities:
Travel to designated Day & Ross locations to provide direct support for training and Go-Live
Training content input/demos and reviews
Develop exercise outlines
Assist in determining appropriate exercises from test scripts and setting up data
First point of contact in training design & build
Participate in trainers calls & provide support throughout end-user training
Conduct End-User training delivery, both in person and virtually.
Provide post roll-out support
Up to 75% travel may be required in this role.

Organizational Change Management Activities:
Participate in Change Network – Super Users and SME Engagement (e.g. onboarding, providing input for materials, providing demos)
Provide communications input, conduct reviews and validate, conduct business demonstration sessions, provide support during end-user events, participate in Hypercare activities
Validation of Change Personas, Change Journey Map, Go-Live Readiness Checklists
Other duties as required.
 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Post-secondary education in supply chain, logistics, business or a related field is an asset but not required. 
1-3 years’ experience in transportation, logistics or a related field is an asset but not required. 
Presentation, training, and facilitation experience considered an asset and preferred.
Experience with Truckmate considered an asset.
Motivated: Has a fierce commitment to excel in the pursuit of goals. 
Curious: A penchant for seeking out new experiences, knowledge, and candid feedback and an openness to learning and change. 
Learning Agility: Ability to adapt and grow into increasingly complex roles and environments and can deal with the discomfort of change. 
Insight: Ability to gather and make sense of information. 
Determination: The wherewithal to pursue difficult goals despite challenges and to bounce back from adversity or setbacks. 
Engagement: Ability to communicate a persuasive vision and connect with people. 
English/French bilingualism an asset but not required.
