We appreciate the dedication and service of military veterans, and recognize the many skills you’ve developed while serving. Whether you’re interested in a driving career, a role in Operations, or another area of our business, we stand ready to help you navigate the road ahead.
“I started driving in 2011 after leaving the US Army. When I came to Day & Ross as a local driver, I communicated to the HR and leadership team that I was interested in transitioning from a driver role into more of an operational or safety role, and they recommended me for the Driver Safety Specialist job when it became available. Since then, I’ve been promoted to Supervisor, Driver Safety. As a leader in the military, we have to lead by example and work with all types of soldiers with different backgrounds, personalities, and life situations, and that has carried over to my job here. My job is to help our drivers operate in a safe manner and ensure that they get to go home safe and sound at the end of the day.”
