Hartland, NB. April 21, 2021: Day & Ross has announced their partnership with Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT), a non-profit organization that works closely with the transportation industry to educate drivers to help combat human trafficking in their daily work.
"This partnership will harness the power of our driving team across Canada and the US and equip them to make an impact by providing them with training, resources, and information about reporting suspicious activity,” said Laura Dickinson, Vice President, Safety & Compliance.
As part of its commitment to TAT, Day & Ross has become a Freedom Driver sponsor of the organization. More than just financial support, this is a reflection of the company’s values and a true partnership where both organizations will be working together to leverage their resources and network in the fight against human trafficking. Laura Dickinson will also be representing Day & Ross as part of the TAT Canada Committee.
“Day & Ross was built by good people who are committed to doing good work. As a North American transportation company, our drivers are uniquely positioned to join the fight against human trafficking and help keep our roads and rest stops safe,” said Bill Doherty, CEO. “Our partnership with Truckers Against Trafficking reflects our ongoing commitment to doing good in the communities where we live, work, and drive.”
