Two Day & Ross owner operators were among just 10 drivers across Manitoba recognized with an Industry Excellence Award in the Inland Truck & Equipment category at the Manitoba Truck Association Driver Awards banquet on May 30.

The award recognizes drivers who demonstrate exceptional professionalism, safe driving practices and dedication to the transportation industry. We are proud to congratulate David Friesen and Kirandeep Sohi on receiving this prestigious honour. 

David joined Day & Ross in 1999 as a Truckload Owner Operator and has accumulated more than one million safe miles while maintaining a clean driving abstract. Customers and colleagues consistently praise his dedication to customer service, reliability and commitment to finding solutions when challenges arise. 

Kirandeep, a P&D Owner Operator who joined Day & Ross in 2008, has also achieved more than one million safe miles. Known for his positive attitude and customer-first mindset, he has earned the respect of customers throughout Manitoba. His willingness to help others makes a lasting impression wherever he goes. 

The recognition not only reflects David and Kirandeep’s outstanding safety records and driving accomplishments, but also the character and professionalism they bring to every interaction.
