Day & Ross Renews Partnership with TAT

Day & Ross has renewed their Freedom Driver sponsorship of TAT (known as Truckers Against Trafficking). For the fourth year in a row, Day & Ross is giving $100,000 to help TAT continue their mission of ending human trafficking across North America.

Many traffickers make use of highways, truck stops, and roadside restaurants to facilitate human trafficking. TAT partners with the transportation industry to educate and equip drivers to help combat these exploitative practices.

In addition to financial support, Day & Ross has played a key role in raising awareness in the communities where we operate. On June 18, they hosted TAT’s mobile exhibit at their Cincinnati terminal, and last week, they brought it across the border to their terminal in Calgary, Alberta. Employees, drivers, and customers were invited to tour the 48-foot trailer, which includes a theater and actual artifacts from trafficking cases. In 2022, Day & Ross became the first TAT partner to bring the mobile exhibit to Canada.

“We recognize that truckers are in a unique position to make a difference and help combat human trafficking,” said Bill Doherty, CEO. “We’re proud to do our part to support this important cause and equip our teams with education and training to do the same.”
