Hartland, NB. April 22, 2021: The new Day & Ross terminal in Moncton is one of the company’s most innovative facilities, featuring significant safety and environmental upgrades. Solar panels, advanced heating and cooling, and electrical upgrades to reduce diesel consumption were incorporated to minimize the facility’s environmental impact, a commitment for Day & Ross both on and off the road.
The safety of employees, drivers, and customers is a priority for Day & Ross, and this terminal was designed with that in mind. The enhanced traffic flow and parking zones improve the experience for everyone, while also addressing safety concerns.
The bright lounge and outdoor patio offers a comfortable place for drivers to take a break. The modern office environment brings in natural light, features collaborative areas and sit/stand desks for employee comfort and wellness.
This larger terminal enables Day & Ross to handle higher volumes and respond to growing demands for retail delivery with a designated customer pickup zone.
“This flagship terminal is a major hub for us in Atlantic Canada across our service offerings, including LTL/TL, residential delivery and dedicated logistics,” said Bill Doherty, CEO. “The facility’s design captures our brand in terms of the quality, authentic materials, commitment to safety and the environment, a focus on the user experience, and overall efficiency.”
