RE: COVID-19

Dear Customer,

We are closely monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19 within North America and beyond. We want to assure you that we are implementing pandemic response plans to keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly and without major disruptions. Our teams include employees, owner operators and drivers at A&S Kinard, Buckler Transport, Ottaway, Sable, and Day & Ross in the US and Canada. The health and well-being of our people, partners and customers remains top of mind and our highest priority.

All of our operations are currently operating at full capacity, and we are working to ensure that the supply chain for delivery of your freight will not be affected. Our national, integrated terminal network in all Canadian provinces allows for flexible operational contingency plans. Our cross-functional Crisis Management Team is leading this effort, including the following activities to protect our teams and the resiliency of our operations:

• Modifying our delivery processes to minimize interactions between individuals, including suspending the need for customers to sign hand-held devices.
• Stopping all non-essential business travel and relying more on electronic communications rather than in-person meetings.
• Requiring 14-day quarantine for all workers who travel outside of continental North America* (*this restriction may broaden as the situation continues to evolve).
• Revising entrance requirements to align with current policies developed to respond to the coronavirus situation. All visitors must fill out a questionnaire when arriving on site. If visitors and contractors have recently visited or travelled through countries outside of continental North America (US, Canada, Mexico), they will be denied entry.
• Implementing work-from-home policies to support “social distancing” strategies to increase the physical distance between employees.
• Temporarily suspending all attendance to trade shows, conferences, and industry-related mass gatherings.
• Increasing awareness and implementation of sanitization and hygiene practices.
• Ensuring we have employees cross-trained within the organization to cover staff shortages that may result from a pandemic.
• Applying the recommendations issued by public health authorities with respect to preventive measures and quarantine.
• Following the guidance provided by the World Health Organization, as well as Federal, State, Provincial, and other authorities as required. For information about COVID-19, visit the following websites: cdc.govwho.intnih.govcanada.ca.

We appreciate your business, and are confident in the resiliency of our operations to handle this evolving situation. We will continue to keep you updated, and do what is right for our teams, customers, and partners.

Sincerely,

William Doherty
