Changes to Home Delivery Services
In the interest of public safety, Day & Ross has made the following changes to our home delivery services:
Hold for Pickup (HFPU)
Modified Process for Shippers
As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, some businesses are closing or modifying their hours, which may impact our ability to deliver shipments. We are asking Shippers to confirm that the Consignee will be open and available to accept shipment. If delivery is unable to be made as a result of a provincially mandated or extended closures related to COVID-19, or if no appointment can be facilitated, the freight will be returned to the point of origin at expense to the original billing account. We will continue to work with consignees to make delivery arrangements in all other scenarios where freight was unable to be delivered (ex. reduced receiving hours).

We want to assure you that we are implementing pandemic response plans to keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly and without major disruptions. The health and well-being of our people, partners and customers remains top of mind and our highest priority.
All of our operations are currently operating at full capacity, and we are working to ensure that the supply chain for delivery of your freight will not be affected. Our national, integrated terminal network in all Canadian provinces allows for flexible operational contingency plans.
