Please note that, due to weather conditions, shipments to the U.S. states listed below will be delayed. Effective today and until further notice, the following states are under embargo:
- New Hampshire
- Rhode Island
- New York
- New Jersey
Day & Ross Freight will not pick up any freight destined for these states. We apologize in advance for any potential disruptions and assure you that we are constantly monitoring the weather conditions to prioritize customers’ freight while remaining compliant with safe operating practices.

Major Delays for Freight Destined to Churchill, MB, Expected to Last Until Spring 2018
Please be advised that, due to severe flooding in Churchill, MB, that occurred in July 2017, the Hudson Bay Railway line between Gillam and Churchill has been closed.
Currently, the only connectivity to Churchill is by air; therefore, shipments will be delayed and additional charges may apply. Priority will be given to critical shipments, including groceries and medical supplies.
Day & Ross Freight will continue to make every effort to accommodate freight.

According to a CBC report, trains are not expected to run again between Gillam and Churchill until spring 2018 at the earliest.
